Dooly’s Hotel stands in Emmett Square, at the heart of the Georgian town of Birr. This hotel is one of the oldest coaching inns in Ireland, dating back to 1747 and now enjoys the status of being a 3-star hotel with great character. Birr is ‘at the centre of things’, located in the Irish Midlands, where there are some of the best golf courses in the country and, they are all within 20 miles radius of the hotel. Among them you’ll find courses with spectacular countryside and lakeside settings galore. All Dooly’s bedrooms provide en-suite facilities, with multi-channel TV with in-house video, radio, beverage making facilities and direct-dial telephone. Each room has its own Individual colours, with appropriate furnishings.

The Emmett Room Restaurant, specialising in French cuisine, has A la Carte and table d’hôte menus which offer a large range of international dishes.
