A magnificent building from 1750, The Gandon Inn was designed by one of Ireland’s most esteemed architects and was, originally, a coach house. Situated in the ‘Heart of Ireland’, the Gandon Inn lies on the main road from Dublin to Cork and Limerick. Close by are many beautiful parkland golf courses, the Heath Golf Club is adjacent and it is only 4 miles to Garryhinch course.

The hotel has ten luxury, en-suite, bedrooms with direct-dial telephone, colour TV and tea or coffee making facilities. The quality ethos of the restaurant is reflected in the cuisine, from the highest repas to your candlelight gourmet meal. The bar has a series of intimate nooks and crannies, ideal for both small and large parties. Vintage memorabilia, wooden floors and stained glass windows create a warm, informal atmosphere.

An interesting mixed feature course with a lot of greens set among valleys and on plateaus with many trees. The course was designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr. 18-holes, Par 71, 6,669 yards

The Heath Golf Club
One of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland. Noteworthy for its rough of heather and furze, the course is exceptionally dry. 18-holes, Par 72, 5,873 metres.
