Charlesland Golf and Country Club is said to be one of County Wicklow’s hidden gems! It lies on the coast with magnificent views from Bray to Arklow. This parkland course offers a real test to golfers, particularly when the wind comes in off the sea. It is a new course, opened in 1992, of 6,169 metres from the back tees. It has four par 5s and four really testing par threes in the course par of 72. There has been considerable investment not least in the upgrading of the hotel accommodation. There are 12 en-suite bedrooms all have TV, direct-dial telephone and Internet access, beverage making facilities and, naturally a splendid view of the course and the sea. There is a bar and the Stones Restaurant where meals are available, starting with breakfast, from 8am.
