ACCOMMODATION & SETTING
Set in wonderful surroundings just a way north of Dublin City, the Portmarnock Hotel was the former home of the Jamieson Family…well known for good whiskey. The house has been tastefully converted into an international hotel which hosts the links course, designed by Bernhard Langer. The 103 bedrooms are designed in such a way as to give guests a view of the sea or the links course. With every modern convenience installed, each room encourages you to feel cosseted, rather like staying in a country home

RESTAURANT
Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links was the national winner of the Gilbeys Gold Medal award in 1999. This is an award for catering excellence and the high standard is reflected in each of the restaurants.

THE COURSE
One of the oldest links golf courses in the East of Ireland - a beautiful place to play. Noted as one of Ireland's most prestigious and challenging courses. Designed by Bernhard Langer, our course and the Portmarnock Golf Club (our neighbours) is laid out on the classic link's landscape which once formed part of the old Jameson Estate.

From the 1st hole, a short par 4 framed on the right by an ancient graveyard and a fairway traversed by water, to the magnificent 18th a golfing masterpiece, each distinctive hole provides a unique and exciting challenge
